My piece Retrospective//Exoskeleton//Imaginal Disc features a portrait made of metal, and a CD made of flesh, subverting and reversing the expectations of their mediums and textures. This aligns with the theme Anomaly through my surrealist depiction of my anxiety surrounding AI. Additionally, the work is inspired by 2024 album Imaginal Disk by Alt-pop duo Magdalena Bay.
