Melbourne-based photographer working with both digital and medium format film. While I enjoy all forms of photography, I have a particular interest in landscapes. I'm drawn to the quiet and focus the process requires, and I value the solitude that comes with it as much as the final image. My work is shaped by a deep appreciation for beautiful places, light, and the tactile process of being behind the camera.

“I focused on examples of historic structures now obscured in the evolution of Melbourne. The first a boarded up shopfront that is now towered over by modern apartment buildings. It stands still, defiant with its elbows out.
The second an impression of a historic building that is now nothing but a indentation on a Chinese restaurant wall. Painted over and obscured but its indentation still signals to the observant that it was there.
I chose to use medium format film and a 1970's Mamiya to capture the visual feel of their time.”
